Reports To: Senior Group Finance Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Country Finance Managers (CFMs) to ensure alignment with HQ finance expectations.
- Ensure compliance with management and regulatory deadlines, including reporting, audits, annual returns, tax filings, GST, etc.
- Implement and enforce the group’s corporate governance policy across all sites.
- Enhance the finance team by providing support, training, and engagement to CFMs.
- Conduct monthly reviews of financial reports and performance across countries, offering improvement suggestions.
- Oversee the setup of new sites within the region.
- Audit regional compliance with the Corporate Governance Policy.
- Address regional issues related to foreign exchange, tax, transfer pricing agreements, and management fees.
- Develop and maintain a master documentation of policies and procedures, ensuring consistency across sites.
- Collaborate with the broader finance team to establish and implement best practices across all sites.
- Ensure regional adoption of HQ initiatives.
- Conduct business analysis for specific units.
- Support budgeting, cost reduction, and other financial exercises.
- Perform additional job-related duties as requested by superiors.
Job Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or ACCA.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting or financial reporting within the Asia Pacific region.
- Ability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail. Skilled in interacting with staff and management to resolve issues effectively.
- Determined and resilient in implementing processes, even with resistance from some parties.
