First Derivative (FD) is currently seeking experienced Business Analyst with strong experience in delivering projects in the Capital Markets sector. FD is a Capital Markets Consulting Business, which currently numbers 2,500+ globally.
The Business Analyst would work with the development team based in Singapore and with business and project teams based in our global network. The Business Analyst will work on an exciting Calypso project.
Main responsibilities
- Build & change management
- Analyse enhancement and propose solutions in collaboration with Architects, developers and business stakeholders.
- Specifications, workload estimates, planning, test scenarios, release documentation.
- Coordinate user acceptance tests.
- Monthly releases, following the team’s milestones for analysis, coding and testing.
- Support the release roadmap in production.
- Incidents and Requests management (business users and other IT teams)
- Troubleshoot and fix issues/bugs.
Qualifications
- 8 years’ experience as front office post trade business analyst
- 5 years experience with Calypso technology
- Experience in Front Office systems (In-house or third party systems)
- Understanding of financial assets (banking treasury products) and trade lifecycle particularly Fixed income and money market products in their many forms, knowledge of risk management concepts and market data
- Experience in interfacing FO or BO systems with external systems
- Hands-on experience in implementation projects
- AGILE track record
- Analytical and problem solving skills, a proactive mind-set, and proven ability to work individually under pressure
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
- Very good communication skills and keen to work with business users across multiple regions
