Job Responsibilities:
As an Outsourced Tax Manager at RT, you will play a vital role in assisting our clients with their tax-related needs. You will work closely with a variety of clients across different industries and countries, providing tax compliance and advisory services while ensuring that their tax obligations are met in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Provides operational management support and be the go-to person for a portfolio of clients to deliver high quality tax services such as full range of tax compliance and assessment, GST compliance and advisory, tax consultancy and planning, international tax advisory services and any other tax related engagements.
- Develop tax solutions and provide tax strategy planning and advisory services to SMEs and public-listed clients across a diverse range of industries. Experience in cross-border transactions, structuring and tax planning, coupled with good communication and report writing skills, are essential.
- Reviews and provides key technical expertise and operational leadership to ensure the performance and quality of all tax work.
- Value-adds to the organisation by developing tax solutions and being involved in a broad range of projects to achieve tax efficiency, as well as foster a culture of learning and professionalism within the team.
- Serves to develop and maintain long-term client relationships and value-add to the organisation by proactively identifying new business development opportunities and be responsible for the development and marketing of new products and service offerings.
- Drives the performance and development of team capabilities through active coaching and mentoring to achieve effective and efficient team performance.
- Ensures operational and financial excellence by determining and monitoring the budget, timeliness and resources for the tax projects in his/her portfolio.
- Beyond overseeing the operation to ensure deliverables within the allotted budget and timeline, he/she may also manage cross-functional and cross-border projects.
- Provide tax training for internal and external seminars
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Preferably having a Professional Qualification in Accountancy or Taxation
- Preferably an Accredited Tax Practitioner or Accredited Tax Advisor with SCTP
- At least 5 to 7 years of experience in tax management including tax compliance, tax advisory and GST
- Diligent, resilient and well-motivated professional who possesses excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
