Your Role
Esco Lifesciences is seeking an ESG manager to support the group, country offices, and manufacturing sites worldwide with sustainability strategy and project delivery in the field of sustainability. This role includes the coordination of international programs and ESG initiatives, the disclosure of sustainability reports, and the monitoring of corporate performance towards ESG-related compliance. Additionally, the ESG manager will provide risk and opportunities analysis for upcoming climate regulations and the use of sustainability-linked financial instruments in Esco's business processes.
What You Will Do
· Together with directors and local teams, roll out a comprehensive plan to achieve sustainability targets, manage the project plan and provide regular progress updates.
· Develop relevant environmental and water policies, and update cross-functional guidance documents.
· Consult with, advise, and work with various business units to ensure sustainability considerations are built into ongoing business practices.
· Ensure proactive compliance with relevant environmental, social, and governance (ESG) regulations, surpassing standards to uphold ethical business practices.
· Lead the execution of sustainability reporting, including monitoring carbon accounting of Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3, and support the submission of corporate-facing reports such as sustainability statements.
· Liaise with Quality Assurance Engineers and Operations Managers to monitor the execution of sustainable business practices.
· Liaise with the Marketing Manager to identify and engage external stakeholders to achieve strategy targets, drive corporate sustainability projects, and receive external recognition.
· Provide analysis and strategic recommendations related to upcoming climate regulations and sustainability-linked financial instruments
Your Qualifications
· Educational background in Environmental Science, Finance, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
· Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in ESG management, sustainability strategy, or related roles within a multinational environment. Experience in manufacturing or pharmaceutical preferred.
· In-depth knowledge of international sustainability standards, ESG reporting frameworks, and climate regulations.
· Demonstrated experience in coordinating and managing global ESG projects, programs, and initiatives.
· Proficiency in ESG reporting and disclosure practices, with experience using reporting tools and platforms.
· Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
· Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and geographical locations.
· Familiarity with sustainability-linked financial instruments and their application in business processes is a plus.
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
· Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
