Aivar Education Centre is seeking an experienced and passionate Part-Time Accounting Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative accounting courses to our diverse student body. This is a part-time position that requires a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and helping students achieve their academic goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver accounting curriculum for part-time students.
- Prepare and present lectures, assignments, and exams.
- Provide individualized support and feedback to students.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
- Stay current with developments in the field of accounting and incorporate new knowledge into teaching.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance the educational experience for students.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in accounting.
- Previous teaching experience at the college or university level is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and online teaching platforms.
Preferred Skills:
- CPA certification or equivalent professional credential.
- Experience with curriculum development and instructional design.
- Familiarity with current accounting software and tools.
Working Hours:
- Flexible schedule, with classes typically held during evenings and weekends.
