1. Sponsorship Acquisition:
- Identify and research potential sponsors and partners that align with SGA's mission and values.
- Develop and prepare tailored sponsorship proposals to potential sponsors including analysis of the prospective client's business objectives, development of concept and storytelling, and customisation of the assets according to the business needs
- Pitch effectively the proposals to the clients, lead the negotiations and contractual discussions in coordination with the SGA leadership, legal an and finance teams so as to maximise revenue and benefits for both parties.
- Lead and manage regular internal communication and reporting process to ensure all contacts, meetings, and active proposals are reported into sales reporting templates and/or a formalised CRM system.
- Maintain active sales pipeline of all prospects by proactively identifying and sharing of key business trends (category-specific, sponsorship, etc..)
- Support the SGA leadership and business development teams with analysis of new business opportunities
- Lead the sales team, define individual objectives and coordinate the sales efforts
- Collaborate with marketing / business development teams to develop and/or re-shape the sales packages (tiers, rights/assets, pricing)
2. Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with sponsors and partners.
- Ensure all sponsorship commitments are met, providing regular updates and reports to sponsors.
- Organise and attend meetings with sponsors to discuss ongoing partnerships and explore new opportunities.
- Own the internal process of commercial partnership reporting including the management of all and every available client contact and prospect database.
- To assume the main point of contact between all commercial stakeholders and sponsors and internal events operations, marketing and high-performance teams.
3. Event Coordination:
- Collaborate with the Events team to ensure sponsors are integrated into SGA events, including the Annual Golf Development Fundraiser.
- Coordinate sponsor-related activities during events, ensuring sponsor visibility and satisfaction (delivery of contractual obligations).
- Own and manage the SGA Commercial Inventory matrix in collaboration with the events operations and marketing teams.
4. Brand Promotion:
- Work with the Marketing team to develop strategies that enhance sponsor brand exposure through SGA's events, social media, and other channels.
- Ensure all sponsor branding and promotional materials are in line with their expectations and SGA's standards.
5. Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement a strategic plan for sponsorship growth and engagement. (strategies and action plan to acquire new sponsorship clients and revenues opportunities)
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for partnerships.
6. Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and report on sponsorship performance, including ROI and sponsor satisfaction.
- Provide regular updates to the General Manager and the Board on sponsorship activities and outcomes.
