Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operation, administration, and enhancement of the organization's suite of cybersecurity tools, including IDS/IPS, email security, endpoint protection (EPP), data loss prevention (DLP), vulnerability management, privileged access management (PAM) solutions like Cyberark and BeyondTrust, identity and access management (IAM/IGA), database activity monitoring (DAM), proxies, and next-generation firewalls (NGFW).
- Handle day-to-day operational tasks related to assigned security solutions, ensuring their effective functioning and security.
- Identify and apply security controls based on secure-by-design principles to maintain the required security posture of solutions.
- Implement, operationalize, and optimize new cybersecurity solutions as needed to address emerging threats.
- Maintain and update security solution documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Uphold high standards of quality by creatively and strategically solving problems throughout the product delivery lifecycle.
- Assist in security incident response activities, including containment and recovery efforts when necessary.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and techniques. Support the team in delivering cybersecurity awareness training within the organization.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with security solutions such as Cyberark, BeyondTrust, TrendMicro Deep Security/Apex One, Tenable Security Center, and IMPERVA SecureSphere.
- Strong understanding of various operating systems, including Linux, Unix, and Windows.
- Experience with programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience supporting cybersecurity operations in an AWS environment is advantageous.
- Security certifications such as GSEC, GCIH, GCIA, GCFA, GCFE, or GNFA are highly desirable. Product certifications in PAM, DAM, or vulnerability management are also advantageous.
- Familiarity with MAS Cyber Hygiene (PSN06) and Technology Risk Management (PSN05) Notices, MAS Technology Risk Management Guidelines, the Cybersecurity Act, and the Cybersecurity Code of Practice (CCoP).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities with strong attention to detail. Effective communication skills for building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and colleagues.
