QHSE Manager

French Chamber Of Commerce In Singapore, The

On behalf of one of its clients in the aviation industry, the French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore is looking for a QHSE Manager.


The role of the QHSE Manager is to manage the quality department in maintaining & developing the company’s integrated management systems through promotion of statutory and company’s Quality & Safety procedures, training, regular auditing and assisting in reviewing processes and documentation whilst championing safe working practices and improvements.


Responsibilities:


Quality:

• Promote and support quality improvement initiatives and standard practices with all team members

• Manage all audits, internally & externally and ensure timely management and closure of any NCRs

• Carry out regular internal audits of quality procedures and job packs

• Assist with warranty claims; customer response, controls, investigation and monitoring of monthly data for KPI reporting

• Manage calibration control and monitoring, and sample inspections of processes and final paint inspections


Health & Safety:

• Carry out regular safety audits, and ensure encouragement and education of the importance of safety procedures is followed

• Monitor adherence to workplace health & safety, wearing of PPE & RPE, and supporting in the corrective actions where required for improvements within production team


Environment:

• Carry out regular internal environmental audits, and support external inspections

• Promote best practices within the team


Training:

• Deliver all quality & safety related training, including relevant toolbox talks and training on the requirements of job pack completion.

• Validation of staff qualification and T-Ratings


General:

• Informs all personnel of the directives issued by management and ensures full communication across all parties in the unit (in particular, management reviews).

• Take part in the different management review meetings when required.

• Embeds Satys’ core values across all personnel working within the unit.

• Any other reasonable request as relates to role.

Requirements

  • Proficient in the use of all MS office applications
  • Strong auditing experience (ISO9001, 14001)
  • Experience of delivering training
  • Manufacturing environment experience would be desirable
  • Aviation industry experience would be a plus
  • Ability to prioritise own workload and work on own initiative
  • Confident and effective communicator, willing to challenge
  • Strong relationship and team working skills
  • Excellent administration skills with a strong attention to detail
