Publications or Communications Management
- Coordinate and curate content with owners, vendors, and stakeholders for communication artifacts (e.g., newsletters, electronic direct mailers, invitations).
- Disseminate advisories and other communication materials.
- Maintain and report on communications track sheet, budget utilization, and distribution list updates.
- Manage program/project communication and engagement.
Events Management
- Source and facilitate procurement of services for communication and engagement tasks.
- Plan and manage events.
- Book and source event venues.
Query Portal and Web Pages Management
- Manage secretariat mailboxes (e.g., creation and archival).
- Administer the Query Management Portal and survey tools.
- Perform program/project secretariat functions.
Intranet Portal Management
- Upload and post on intranet portals, platforms, and websites (including design, layout, copywriting, and creation of pages/sites).
- Adapt and repurpose intranet content for diverse audiences (e.g., technical to non-technical, factsheet content to blog posts).
- Update and refresh intranet content as required.
- Respond to user comments and queries, consulting with project teams as necessary. Monitor and moderate forum content per terms of use.
- Ensure the functionality and usability of intranet portals/platforms/websites.
- Manage access rights and permissions for intranet portals/platforms/websites.
- Propose and manage enhancements to improve functionality and usability.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma with at least five years of relevant experience.
- Previous experience as a communications or community manager is advantageous.
- Background in Computer or Information Technology disciplines is beneficial.
- Working knowledge of media and digital production (e.g., adapting and resizing graphics, simple infographic creation) is useful.
