Associate Director, Operations

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire operational functions to ensure strict adherence to theoperating procedures and compliance with internal guidelines, statutorylegislations and rules.
  • Formulate, review, and update policies, procedures and manuals in relation tofront and back offices’ operations to ensure the operations of the companymeeting all latest regulatory and legal requirements as well as industry guidelinesand practices.
  • Manage and motivate a team of operational staff to achieve operationalstandards and ensure team leaders are effectively managing all aspects of dailybusiness operations.
  • Work closely with various departments and companies within the Group toensure smooth operations and facilitate the efficiency of business activities toachieve the Group targets and requirements whilst maintaining a sound controlenvironment.
  • Manage projects like system upgrades, new product launches, and processenhancements to ensure on-time completion according to specifications withinbudgeted costs and timeline with evaluation of risks associated with projects.
  • Manage internal stakeholders and external parties including regulators.


Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or above in Business Administration, IT, Finance, Accounting,Law or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 7 years relevant experience with at least 3 years at management levelwith experience in managing a substantial team in future brokerage institutions.
  • Strong understanding of futures trading lifecycle and related processes.
  • Extensive knowledge in Financial Laws, Exchange Rules, and other relatedregulations, guidelines and practices especially in PRC, Hong Kong and Singapore.
  • In-depth understanding of operational controls, workflows, and regulatoryrequirements in financial industry.
  • Strong leadership, planning, analytical, problem solving and decision makingskills.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and leading teams.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese to communicate withinternal and external parties.
