We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team in the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) role. As part of our team, you will support the Head of Department in implementing WSH programs. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising with Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) coordinators from various offices and departments to ensure effective implementation and reporting of EHS initiatives.
- Collaborating with the Hospital Services Planning team to design safety protocols and manage work activities within construction sites, including reviewing risk assessments and permits to work.
- Maintaining the risk registry and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Assisting with in-house WSH training and promotion activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in monitoring workplace safety and health protocols, preferably in the health or healthcare sector.
- Familiarity with safety or quality certification programs such as ISO and safety and health management systems is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage various stakeholders in a dynamic and growing organization with multi-generational staff.
- A team player who is highly motivated and action-oriented, with strong planning, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to change, and manage challenges effectively.
