Additional job description
As a Policy Enforcement Manager, you will be responsible for working with a global team from policy, enforcement, product, engineering, tools, legal and other teams to prevent violative content from appearing on the site. You will evaluate abuse trends and quality within vendor operations, and develop creative solutions to address quality, workflows and processes. You will review decisions about the appropriateness of different content, including considerations of cultural and political sensitivities.

Job responsibilities
- Enforce YouTube’s violent extremism (VE) content policies and ensure high quality policy enforcement.
- Oversee YouTube’s various enforcement workflows including tooling improvements and scaled workflow optimization.
- Execute strategies across YouTube in close partnership with Legal, Product, Engineering, Google Trust and Safety, and YouTube Trust and Safety Content Policy.
- Manage escalations in the VE space while ensuring high quality enforcement and clear communication with cross-functional stakeholders
- Review graphic, controversial, and offensive video content in line with YouTube’s community guidelines.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields.
- Experience in content policy, anti-abuse, reviewing online content, or similar.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in SQL, building dashboards, data collection/transformation and using data to drive strategy and business action.
- Experience in misinformation or election space.
- Ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners across geographies.
- Ability to communicate in English and Arabic fluently in order to review content and manage escalations in these languages.
- Excellent business judgment, problem-solving, influencing, and communication skills.
- Passion for working cross-functionally, thinking strategically, and keeping our users safe while protecting free speech.
