Requirements
- Passion for teaching adults.
- Fresh graduates welcome.
- No prior teaching experience required.
- Minimum Grade 6 (Trinity or Rockschool) in drums.
- Commitment of at least one year.
- Bonus if you have minimum Grade 5 ABRSM theory.
- Proficiency in drum transcription software.
- Ability to create click tracks using a DAW.
- Good listener, patient, and empathetic.
- Available to work on Saturdays.
- No desire to perform at night or take up long-term performing gigs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one drum lessons both onsite and online using J Music's drum syllabus.
- Transcribe drums for students.
- Create click tracks and drum tracks for students.
- Prepare students for drum exams conducted by Trinity College London.
- Prepare students for biannual recital performances.
- Leave lesson notes for students on the Student Portal after every lesson.
- Mark attendance online on the Student Portal.
