Job Title: Portfolio Manager / Executive Director
SUMMARY
Theme Capital Group is a new FMC and has ambitions to set-up and manage several VCCs and Funds. The company is currently working on incepting its first Green Steel themed Private Equity Fund.
For a start, the successful candidate will perform the activities of fund raising from investors keen on pursuing the production of green steel; or clean energy and other factors used in the production of green steel as may be permitted by the fund. And just as importantly, the successful candidate will be actively involved in the investment selection process of the investee companies and the proper management of the fund.
The firm is looking for dynamic individuals who has the passion to grow with the team here in Singapore.
Responsibilities
· Fund raising
· Develop and execute investment strategies to meet portfolio objectives.
· Ensure that strategies adhere to guidelines and regulatory requirements.
· Develop and implement appropriate investment and risk frameworks.
· Monitor portfolio performance and risk, and making necessary adjustments to optimize returns and mitigate risk.
· Provide client consultation to develop business and investment opportunities.
· Provide advice and guidance for investment opportunities to clients.
· Prepare reports on investment performance and activity.
· Update investors on their investments, market conditions and economic trends.
Requirements:
· At least 5 years of Portfolio Management experience in managing a PE fund, including at least 3 years of experience investing in the steel or energy sector.
· At least 5 years of managerial experience.
· Have been registered with the MAS as a CMSL representative for a minimum of 5 years.
· Fluent in both spoken English and Mandarin.
· Strong understanding of investment strategies and risk management.
