Senior Manager, Business Development and Partnerships

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, Business Development and Partnership to join the Behold Julien team and drive our strategic growth and partnerships.

Position Overview:

The Senior Manager, Business Development and Partnership will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic business opportunities and partnerships that align with our company’s objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in business development, partnership management, and a deep understanding of the F&B market dynamics. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a results-oriented mindset.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion for Behold Julien Pte Ltd
  • Identify new markets and customer segments for business growth, focusing on expanding our presence both locally and internationally.
  • Conduct market research along side TLBG Special Projects team and run and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Support the development and execution of local and overseas pop- ups and collaborative events
  • Acquire new partnerships from end-to-end of the business development process, from lead generation to deal closure.

2. Partnership Management

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key partners, including suppliers, and industry influencers.
  • Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial term that align with our business needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations and culinary to integrate and manage partnerships effectively.

3. Organization of Resources Management

  • Oversight of Project Management tool for all key and major projects for the company.
  • Oversight of Chef JR Travel Calendar
  • Support Booking and Logistics Duties for Chef JR and Team for International Travel, Pop-Ups and Residencies.
  • Ensure that all files, folders and documents related to BHJ Business Development are properly stored in the shared drive.
  • Set clear goals and expectations for time management related to any and all projects in the BHJ company.

4. Financial and Performance Management

  • Develop and manage the business development budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Set clear goals and performance metrics for the department, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on business development activities and outcomes.

5. Administration

  • Oversight of Chef Julien Royer’s Travel Calendar
  • Support in travel logistics for Chef Julien Royer and team members. This includes flight booking, hotel accommodation, visa applications etc

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, partnership management in a fine dining environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and managing strategic partnerships in the F&B fine-dining sector
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscape in the F&B industry.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
