Roles and Responsibilities:
- Compile and analyze financial information, post journals and bank entries, calculate depreciation of fixed assets.
- Maintain and create new customers, suppliers and general ledger accounts in accounting system.
- Accounts Receivables (AR)
-Handle day-to-day AR functions.
-Perform daily cash count and deposits.
-Perform receipt and bank posting in the system accurately and promptly on all payment modes.
-Actively monitor AR aging and follow up with customers to reduce AR days.
- Accounts Payables (AP)
-Verify accuracy of vendor invoices, staff claims and petty cash reimbursements.
-Perform SOA reconciliation and liaise with suppliers for payment matters.
- Prepare bank reconciliation and prepare journals for month end closing.
- Prepare monthly account closing and relevant audit schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly GST filing.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
- Maintain accounting files and records.
- Perform any other ac-doc duties as requested or assigned.
Job Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
- 1-5 years of working experience in Accounting & Finance.
- Analytical and hands-on team player.
