Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll transactions.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Ensure all financial data is accurate and presented in compliance with accounting standards.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor and report on variances between actuals and budgets.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations. Assist in the coordination of audits and tax examinations.
- Internal Controls: Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial records.
- Reconciliations: Perform regular bank and account reconciliations. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.
- Software Utilization: Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency. Stay updated with the latest accounting software developments.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, company policies, and accounting standards. Keep abreast of changes in accounting regulations and best practices.
