We are seeking a dynamic Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager to support the Director of Corporate Finance and Strategy at MyRepublic Group. This role is crucial for our mobile business operations in New Zealand and Singapore.
As an FP&A Manager, you will:
· Finance Business Partnership: Support the finance business partnership requirements for MyRepublic Group’s Mobile business in New Zealand and Singapore.
· FP&A Activities: Own FP&A activities including monthly close, developing and maintaining business models, budgeting, and supporting relevant business/functional heads to understand performance versus budget.
· Business Re-Forecasting: Perform business re-forecasts as required and support decision-making in business cases with multiple scenario analyses.
· Corporate Activities: Maintain the financial data repository and conduct modeling to support corporate activities like fundraising from investors or strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
· Analyze the performance of business units (BU) and support the prioritization of operating expenses and project spending.
· Collaborate with the Finance Director and senior management to create business cases for new business launches and market opportunities and develop detailed budget models.
· Ownership of FP&A functions related to the monthly close activities of MyRepublic Group’s mobile business in New Zealand and Singapore. Review BU revenue and cost P&L against budget and coordinate with accounting and FinOps for BAU activities, expense approvals etc.
· Prepare monthly management accounts for senior management review.
· Assist in the FP&A aspects of launching new businesses.
· Aid the Finance Director in preparing investor and shareholder materials, board presentations, due diligence matters, and M&A support.
Key Skills and Attributes
· Experience: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of the telecommunications business model and relevant KPIs is advantageous.
· Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting rules with the ability to accurately model balance sheet and cash flow statements with minimal supervision. CPA/ACCA certification is an advantage.
· Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills paired with strong business acumen.
· Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
· Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
