Role Description:
This position reports directly to the Managing Director of the company. The position is resopnsible to oversee the setup of the logistics and warehouse system within the company, including the efficient transportation and distrubution of materials, equipment, parts etc to support the technicians in pumps and facilities servicing of a building.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Plan, organise, and implement logistics and warehouse management system for the company.
- Develop logistics and warehouse management strategies to optimise the operations.
- Monitor logistics project schedules and budget to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective solutions.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager and the Technicians on facilities servicing projects.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance servicing operations.
Technical Skills and Competencies:
- Degree or experience in process design, optimisation
- Proven experience in managing logistics and warehouse operations or optimisation
- Strong knowledge of logistic operations including warehousing, inventory management, etc
- Able to communicate and lead internal teams towards the implementation of the logistics related projects.
