Based at our Corporate Office in Singapore, we are looking for a passionate and energetic individual to join us as Distribution Manager, Corporate Commercial.


Job Responsibilities

Reporting to Vice President – Commercial, the responsibilities manage the global distribution landscape for Pan Pacific Hotels Group’s continued development and execution of a comprehensive channel distribution strategy.

The Director / Manager will lead and manages a team of indirect reports and is responsible for:

  1. Leading the execution of PPHG global cross channel distribution strategy and in close cooperation with discipline leaders in Sales and Revenue Management
  2. Successfully execute strategies and tactics designed to ensure revenue maximization through the distribution landscape in alignment with PPHG’s enterprise-wide distribution strategy.
  3. Ability to develop and apply frameworks to help/guide/develop direction to measure efficiency and success of Wholesale segment.
  4. Responsible for driving account strategy for Online Travel Agents, Bedbanks, and other third-party channels with defined account plans and achieving set KPIs.
  5. Lead commercial negotiations with third parties and agreements with OTAs, Bedbanks.
  6. Actively seek opportunities to new distribution opportunities that are strategically aligned with our global strategy.
  7. Providing thought leadership for the development and execution of regions.Provides direction and works closely with property leaders to ensure PPHG objectives are met. Generate monthly / quarterly performance reports to ensure regions and property teams are well-guided and for communications to PPHG Senior leaders.
  8. Plays an influential role in setting direction and strategy to grow our Consortia segment.Work with channel partners, GSOs, Revenue Management to identify opportunities and implement them in the market.Provides quarterly update on performance and achievements, utilizing Hotelligence report, Demand / Agency 360.

Strategic Distribution Planning

  1. Develop, lead and execute Pan Pacific Hotels Group’s Strategic distribution plan which includes optimized channels and segmentation strategy.
  2. Provide guidance to the properties and cluster teams in the development of their annual strategic plans to support the revenue expectations of the business and ensure profitable growth and risk mitigation.
  3. Drive and ensuring revenue maximization through the distribution landscape.
  4. Think creatively and practically to develop, execute and implement new program / partnership.

Partners Management

  1. To lead and initiate account strategy for all partners with strong account plan and well-defined KPIs. Build/maintains trusted relationships with key distribution partners.
  2. To define and execute a robust system of measurement and reporting that supports the business needs.
  3. Actively seek opportunities to new distribution opportunities that are strategically aligned with our global strategy.
  4. Collaborate and provide guidance to Directors of Sales & Marketing and their teams to achieve their annual KPIs. Sets direction and works closely with property leaders to ensure PPHG objectives are met.
  5. Provides timely communication of results, achievements and challenges to direct report, peers and leaders.

Human Capital

  1. To lead, motivate and evaluate key discipline leaders with a view to recommending future development and succession planning across property, cluster.
  2. Ensure that all associates are provided with the necessary training, coaching, and supervision to anticipate, adapt and achieve their annual business goals and objectives.

Financial Management

  1. To establish all goals – financial, competitive, and fiscal and to establish a system of monitoring the same at both quarterly and annually.
  2. To provide senior management with remedial actions as necessary to remain within acceptable budgetary standards.

Administrative

  1. To audit properties according to the company’s standards and policies.
  2. To document and enforce Pan Pacific Hotels Group Best Practices through standard operating procedures and policies as required.
  3. Provides direction and works closely with property leaders to ensure PPHG objectives are met. Generate monthly / quarterly performance reports to ensure regions and property teams are well-guided and for communications to PPHG Senior leaders.
  4. Champions and review current dashboards measuring progress against specific Distribution strategy KPIs.

The Person:

  1. Have a full understanding of the Global Distribution Systems, OTA and Wholesale business models and B2C marketing capabilities.
  2. Develop measurement KPIs for reporting on productivity of each channel and be able to define strategies from this analysis.
  3. Participate in revenue meetings and review channel performance and lead discussions on maximizing revenues via all third-party channels.
  4. Have extensive knowledge of, and hands-on experience with marketing options across OTA and B2B partner channels.
  5. Have a broad understanding of online performance marketing channels and up to date knowledge with latest digital marketing trends.
  6. A mentor to lead team members to achieve their best performance.
  7. Good understanding of sales systems and tools to analyse data and identify trends.
  8. Able to engage stakeholders and execute strategies effectively.
  9. Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  10. Strong business acumen and commercial sense
  11. Good oral & written communication in English, with strong presentation skills
