Salling Search is currently recruiting an Operations Executive (Energy Ports & Project) for a leading global shipping and logistics company to be based in Singapore.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the complete logistics process for project shipments, including managing documentation and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
- Ensure timely and accurate movement of goods from the origin to the destination in accordance with the scope of work provided by the Project Manager.
- Prepare and manage all necessary shipping documents and ensure compliance with international trade regulations and processes
- Liaise with carriers, shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies and other service providers to ensure shipment are transported safely and efficiently
- Monitor the progress of shipments and provide real-time updates to customers
- Address and resolve operational issues such as delays, damages, or discrepancies.
- Travel as needed to meet clients or oversee operations at various global locations.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in handling heavy cargo or out-of-gauge operations, logistics, or project management, with a preference for project freight forwarding experience.
- Familiarity with specialized vessels and equipment, including MPP/heavy lift vessels, deck carriers, semi-submersibles, multi-axle trailers, and self-propelled modular transporters is advantageous.
- A good understanding of customs procedures for oversized cargo is also preferred.
- A solid grasp of transportation regulations, especially those pertaining to oversize and heavy haul shipments, is essential.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are crucial for managing complex over-dimensional cargo movements.
- Ability to handle multiple operations simultaneously, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines is also required.
