Contract period: mid-August 2024 to February 2025
Main Responsibilities:
Media Monitoring/Daily News/Subscriptions
- Primary responsibility for monitoring daily news wires, publications etc. for news of interest to be circulated by morning deadline.
- Maintain library of original reports on the Company on a monthly basis.
- Maintain list of subscriptions for Company-wide reference, ensuring timely renewals.
Media/Social Media/Internal Communications
- Ensure accurate documentation and filing of media enquiries and media clippings on a monthly basis.
- Manage and monitor Company Information mailbox on a daily basis, notifying appropriate person in charge where required. This includes rapid escalation of media queries, sales pitches or cybersecurity matters.
- Assist Corporate Communications Executive with crafting LinkedIn posts based on Company announcements.
- Liaise with Board Secretariat Department on translation of press releases and subsequent sign-off from key parties.
- Update intranet with Company announcements and subsequently disseminate Company-wide.
Events
- Provide assistance to Corporate Communications Executive with major 2024 Singapore-based events such as Airline Economics, SCRAPS and Investor Day, scheduled for the first two weeks of November.
- To manage pre-event logistics such as arranging transport, scheduling, registration and RSVP for other regional/international events and conferences.
- To provide on-site assistance as required, in Singapore & abroad, some of which may require after office hours support.
Others
- Administration and monitoring of team budget. This includes accurate monthly funds check supervised by Corporate Communications Executive.
- Prepare selected sections of the Company monthly Director’s Report covering the relevant charts and news.
- Draft and seek approval for IRCC weekly minutes.
- Work with Corporate Communications Executive to manage corporate gift inventory and quarterly checks and sourcing, as required.
- Other tasks as assigned by the HOD or CEO.
Requirements:
- Diploma in any discipline with interest in corporate communications or events management Proven experience in event planning and coordination
- Relevant corporate communications experience in a public relations agency or in the aviation industry will be an added advantage
- Strong MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint skills
- Due to circulation timeline for Daily News, the candidate will be required to start work before 0900
- Organised and detailed-oriented with strong communication, analytical and creative problem-solving skills
