Based at our Corporate Office in Singapore, we are looking for a passionate and energetic individual to join us as IT Applications Executive.
Job Responsibilities
The Corporate IT Application Executive is responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of software applications within the Pan Pacific Hotels Group. This role involves collaborating closely with the Corporate IT Director of Applications and working with the property IT team to ensure that all application systems support the business objectives and enhance the guest experience through innovative technology solutions.
- Manage the lifecycle of all software applications, including development, deployment, and maintenance.
- Ensure that applications are aligned with business goals and are optimized for performance and usability.
- Coordinate with various departments to understand their application needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Assist in managing application-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Provide ongoing support for all application systems, addressing any issues and ensuring high availability.
- Implement updates and enhancements to improve functionality and performance.
- Manage relationships with application vendors, ensuring that service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors for software and services.
- Work with the cybersecurity team to ensure that all applications are secure and comply with industry regulations.
- Work closely with other IT team members to ensure cohesive and efficient operations.
- Ensure that all applications comply with industry regulations and standards, including data privacy laws and PCI DSS.
- Identify and mitigate application-related risks, implementing strategies to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Collaborate with the property IT team to implement and maintain application systems at individual properties.
- Provide support and guidance to the property IT team for application-related issues and projects.
- Any other duties of a comparable nature as may be required.
The Person:
- Degree / Diploma in Business Computing / Computer Science / Information Technology
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in application management.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale application projects and working with diverse IT teams.
- Ensure confidentiality and reliability of data, information, and intellectual property
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-stress situations.
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skill.
- Good project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
