Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of network engineers and operators, providing guidance and mentorship
- Ensure 24/7 network availability, reliability and security
- Manage network monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response
- Manage and develop a team of network professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning
- Conduct performance evaluations, providing feedback and coaching
- Communicate issues to stakeholders, including executive leadership
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors, partners and external organizations.
- Bank network consists of diverse technology environments such as Cisco ACI, VXLAN, routing and switching technologies such as OSPF, BGP, NAT, STP, policy based routing, load balancer technologies, proxy, firewalling technologies etc.
This role requires the person to possess in depth knowledge and hands-on experience of these technologies.
This role also requires the critical and logical thinking ability under pressure situation while working long hours including late nights or weekends.
The role is responsible for maintaining of the continuity of the network services and to resolve the network incidents with minimum disruption to business services.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, networking or related field.
- Experience: 15+ years of network operation experiences, with 3+ years in a leadership role
- Technical skills:Expertise in network protocols, architectures, and technologies(e.g. TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, MP-BGP EVPN)
Experience with network management systems, monitoring tools, and automation platforms.
- Soft Skills:Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and projects.
