Job Description:
- Manage and execute small-scale projects for established clients, including spare parts supply, technical discussions, conceptual studies, FEED engineering, and small-scale maintenance projects.
- Oversee brownfield projects and coordinate vendor supervisors to support operation and maintenance activities for chemical plants, encompassing planned, periodic, breakdown, and shutdown maintenance, spare parts management, and technical advisory services.
- Estimate project costs and obtain necessary approvals.
- Manage, coordinate, and control all project activities to ensure execution according to specifications, schedules, and approved budgets.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and client representatives to meet project objectives and shutdown schedules.
- Facilitate communication between company group to ensure necessary documents and information are shared for project execution.
- Provide project reports to higher management and clients, seeking assistance when required.
- Perform conceptual design of static and package (furnace) equipment with support from discipline engineers.
- Prepare specifications, datasheets, and drawings for static equipment.
- Select and pre-qualify vendors/fabricators.
- Conduct technical/clarification meetings with vendors/contractors to finalize designs.
- Review vendor drawings and provide necessary approvals.
- Prepare Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and attend vendor inspections as needed.
- Arrange vendor and in-house supervisors for maintenance jobs.
- Collaborate with clients for root cause analysis and provide expertise to solve recurring problems, ensuring smooth operations.
- Participate in technical discussions and work.
- Support the estimation process for small-scale projects, such as modifications, rectifications, capacity increases, and process improvements for existing clients.
- Develop project procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for smooth project execution.
- Engage in training and development activities for the group.
- Contribute to service promotion and other promotional activities.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Engineering from a reputed institution with strong academic records.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience, including engineering design for static equipment and feasibility studies.
- Preferred experience in operation and maintenance within chemical plants.
- Experience in EPC within the chemical, petrochemical, and power sectors is preferred.
