Marketing Executive (Hotel)

The incumbent is responsible in supporting the Marketing Communications (MARCOMS) Manager in executing marketing programs that align with the strategic direction of the property/properties, including enhancing brand visibility, driving engagement and contributing to overall business goals.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare all in-house collaterals in existing/new hotel to ensure adherence to Corporate Identity
  • Assist in implementing brand touchpoints to enhance guests’ experiences and strengthen brand identity across all hotels
  • Copywrite and design all marketing-related collaterals (eg. brochures, newsletters, electronic direct mailers etc)
  • Maintain website content and assets to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Conduct regular online content audit to ensure information and materials on external platforms are accurate and aligned with brand guidelines
  • Assist with photography for events and hotel activities, maintaining an up-to-date photo library for the Hotel
  • Write guest letters, welcome letters, messages and notices for the management
  • Create social media content and campaigns to increase fan base and engagement
  • Reply to guest reviews on various platforms to maintain a positive online reputation and address any concerns or feedback
  • Draft press releases, and handle media inquiries
  • Maintain press database, digital library, and media clippings
  • Work closely with the relevant departments in organising public relations activities
  • Source for corporate gifts that reflects brand image
  • Nurture healthy relationships with partners to enhance guest experience
  • Plan and execute internal events, media tours, and hotel activities
  • Coordinate with external vendors/media and internal teams to ensure successful event delivery
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the MARCOMS Manager from time to time

SKILLS & QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma in Marketing or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in the Hospitality Industry with Marketing Communications background
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Proficient in graphic design software (eg. Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is a plus.
  • Creative, attention to detail, and a team player
  • Adaptable and willing to travel for work
