Overview of Role
TRUST is the national analytics platform that enables anonymised health-related research and real-world data to be brought together, accessed, and used in an expeditious and secure manner. The platform supports health data analytics and innovation between public institutions, and between the public and private sectors to improve health outcomes.
As a Communications Manager in TRUST, you will support the Communications Lead in delivering strategic communications and outreach to a diverse range of stakeholders, within the government, research and private sectors. You will work closely with TRUST’s partners to co-drive media campaigns and co-develop public messaging on Singapore’s data driven healthcare research ecosystem. We are looking for a resourceful and adaptable individual who can work independently if the situation requires.
Role Description / Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for:
· Supporting the development and implementation of an effective narrative and communications strategy that articulates the platform’s objectives and value to health and healthcare outcomes.
· Monitoring and assessment of stakeholders’ opinions, perceptions and attitudes towards data sharing, privacy, and confidentiality etc. to guide communication plans. Stakeholders include but not limited to lay public, healthcare providers, academics, and government agencies.
· Working with vendors and/or stakeholders to develop content that caters to the platform’s requirements and stakeholders’ interest, e.g. infographics, user manuals & guides.
· The platform’s public relations matters and crafting of media materials to manage media queries, prepare and support spokespersons. Media materials include but not limited to press release, media factsheets, media FAQs, collaterals.
· Maintaining the platform’s owned communications tools, e.g. stakeholder-facing reports, newsletters and the website
· Beyond the platform, support development of communications strategy and media / communication materials to articulate Singapore’s research and data sharing strategies and value capture.
Job Requirements and Skillsets
· Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in strategic communications, corporate communications and / or scientific or advocacy communications.
· Minimum bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or related field.
· Sensitivity to diverse audiences and demonstrated sound judgement about messaging.
· Demonstrated ability in desktop publishing, copywriting, social media, event management and the distillation of complex concepts into layperson language is desirable.
· Versatile in working independently.
