Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Operations, Engineering, Security, or a related field.
- Certificates related to security planning, design, deployment, equipment, or investigations preferred.
- Certificates related to business continuity are advantageous.
- Fluent in English and local language(s).
- Minimum 3 years working experience in security, safety, business continuity or related disciplines
- General understanding of air, ocean, road and warehousing activities, flows, relationships, and constraints.
- Knowledge of local legislation and other security standards (e.g., WSH, bizSAFE, TAPA, ISO45001, ISO9001, SCDF, NEA etc).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and collaborate with management, functional teams and subcontractors to establish security and safety standards and requirements.
- Create and execute local security practices and guidelines in alignment with corporate or client security mandates.
- To strategize, implement and conduct security risk assessments, ensuring corrective and preventive measures are implemented effectively.
- Manage and review security incidents, including investigations and documentation.
- To assess, report and escalate incidents related to Quality, Health, Safety, Security, Environment (QHSSE) and any business disruptions.
- Conduct audits of subcontractors and follow-up on corrective actions.
- To strategize, implement and support for commercial, insurance and compliance efforts.
- Promote and conduct security awareness programs for employees and subcontractors.
- Evaluate and enhance security and safety processes and ensure compliance of all legislative security requirements and industry best practices.
- Maintain, update and develop materials relating to Manuals and Business Continuity Plan to ensure that planned exercises are carried out.
- Domestic travel is required.
- Must be contactable via mobile or other means during office hours and occasionally outside of office hours.
Special Working Conditions:
Able to work under stressful conditions and respond to urgent inquiries from internal or external clients when incidents occur.
