Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Executive to join our team. The Delivery Executive will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of laundry and dry cleaning items to our valued customers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Key Responsibilities:
- Pickup and Delivery: Collect laundry and dry cleaning items from customers' locations and deliver them back after cleaning within the scheduled timeframe.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, addressing any concerns or special requests they may have. Ensure a positive customer experience through courteous and efficient service.
- Route Planning: Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service. Adjust routes based on traffic conditions and customer availability.
- Quality Control: Inspect items before delivery to ensure they meet the company’s quality standards. Report any issues or damages to the appropriate department.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of pickups, deliveries, and any customer feedback or complaints. Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and promptly.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the delivery vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and in good working condition. Report any maintenance issues to the management.
- Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and traffic regulations.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Experience in a delivery role is preferred, especially in the laundry and dry cleaning industry.
- Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety. - Licenses: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading deliveries.
