Our client is a Manufacturing Industry. They are looking for a IT Specialist to assist their IT team for the next phrase of their business. They are located in West – easily accessible.
The IT Specialist is responsible for:
Duties
- Provides first-level assistance for hardware, software, and network issues, troubleshooting problems and training users on new technologies.
- System maintenance involves monitoring computer systems, performing updates, backups, and security checks to ensure data integrity.
- Network administration includes managing network infrastructure, monitoring performance, and maintaining security protocols.
- Software management tasks involve installing, configuring, and updating applications, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, and aiding in software deployment.
- I.T. projects and asset management cover participating in system upgrades, collaborating with departments, maintaining inventory, procuring equipment, and disposing of outdated items.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Min 2 years of experience in an I.T. support role.
- Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
- Knowledge of SAP will be advantageous
