Job Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and upgrade Automic Workload Automation (AWA) software.
- Customize AWA solutions to meet specific business requirements.
- Develop and implement automated workflows, jobs, and schedules.
- Design efficient and effective automation workflows.
- Optimize existing workflows to improve performance and reliability.
- Monitor the performance and health of the AWA environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to job failures, performance bottlenecks, and system errors.
- Work closely with business analysts, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand automation requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members and end-users.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for AWA processes, configurations, and workflows.
- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users and team members.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced degrees or certifications in relevant areas can be an advantage.
- Proven experience as an Automic AWA Consultant or in a similar role.
- Experience with workload automation tools and platforms, particularly Automic Workload Automation.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) and automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in Automic Workload Automation, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of job scheduling, workflow automation, and batch processing.
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and SQL.
- Knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and networking concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
