Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive cloud security strategies and policies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align cloud security initiatives with business goals.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential security threats and vulnerabilities in cloud environments.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation plans to address identified risks.
- Continuously monitor and review security risks and update risk management strategies as needed.
- Design and implement secure cloud architectures and solutions.
- Ensure cloud infrastructure and applications are designed and configured according to security best practices.
- Develop and maintain security architecture documentation and diagrams.
- Deploy and configure cloud security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption solutions).
- Implement security controls and measures to protect cloud resources.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Advanced degrees or certifications in relevant areas can be an advantage.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Security Consultant or in a similar senior security role.
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their security features.
- Experience with designing and implementing cloud security solutions in complex environments.
- Deep understanding of cloud security principles, best practices, and technologies.
- Proficiency in security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, encryption solutions).
- Strong knowledge of network security, identity and access management (IAM), and data protection.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to translate complex security concepts into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
