Our client, a well-known company is looking for candidates for the position of Safety Officer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing WSH for the company
- Reporting directly to senior management on safety related matters and improvements
- SHMS internal audits based on requirements
- Technical discussions pertaining with consultants including Professional Engineers on various addition and alteration works pertaining to structures and fire safety related matters
- Manage Emergency Response Plans and ERT for the company
- Regular on-site inspections to identify lapses and propose corrective actions
- Prepare/Review Safety plans, Risk assessments and Safe work procedures
- Upkeep Change Request Documentations and Management of Change
- Trainings and Organizational Development
- Lead investigations on near misses, incidents and accidents and implement CAPA to prevent re-occurrences.
- Conducting of emergency response drills and table top exercises as per SCDF requirements
REQUIREMENTS
- Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM is a must.
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Management, or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year working experience as a HSE officer
- Experience in Food/Manufacturing is preferred.
