Job Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the reports team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
• Oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of reports using SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) suite of tools.
• Manage BOBJ administration tasks including user management, security, folder grouping, and authorization management.
• Develop and implement REST API integrations to facilitate data exchange and communication between BOBJ and other systems.
• Lead the development of HANA ABAP CDS views, ABAP RAP services, and SEGW Fiori Gateway services for reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design and develop Web Intelligence (WebI) reports and dashboards to meet business needs.
• Perform Analytics CDS data modeling to create meaningful and actionable insights from raw data.
• Implement CDS authorization concepts and SAP authorization mechanisms to ensure data security and compliance.
• Build and customize WebI report layouts to optimize user experience and accessibility.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for incident management related to reporting issues, providing timely resolution and escalation as needed.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Advanced degrees or certifications in data analytics, business intelligence, or related areas can be an advantage.
• Proven experience as a report developer, data analyst, or in a similar role.
• Experience in a team leadership or management role.
• Extensive experience with reporting tools and technologies (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, Crystal Reports).
• Proficiency in SQL and database management
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and data integration concepts
• Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.
• Leadership and team management abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
