- Candidate must have a minimum 10 yrs Piping / Construction / Commissioning experience within the offshore oil and gas environment at a supervisory or leadership level.
- Highly skilled and experienced Supervisor or Manager.
- Able to manage a integrated workforce of approximately 50 people over a 10 month period.
- Must have excellent Communication and Co-ordination skills.
- Must be able to maintain schedule whilst understanding and allowing for conflicting scope and prioritisation within a shipyard.
- Candidate must be able to drive and manage a large work scope safely and efficiently in a SIMOPS Challenged Environment.
- Candidate must have managed or overseen a minimum of 2 major N2HE leak test campaigns.
- Candidate must demonstrate a full grasp of Safety requirements, controls and mitigations related to Leak Testing.
- Candidate must have a history of excellence related to safety performance and execution of work to schedule.
- Should be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the physics of leak testing.
- Methodology and sequencing of work.
- Familiar with the risks and management of cryogenic gasses, N2 etc.
Must be familiar with and able to Manage:
- Accepted Leak Test methodology, preparation and execution.
- Potential Risks and Mitigations during scope execution.
- Test Pack development and requirements
- Setting system boundaries and appropriate isolation points.
- Understand Leak Test Objectives and be able to manage multiple teams and work fronts.
- Repair methodology and retest requirements.
- Manage and comply with budgetary constraints
- Manage and co-ordinate conflicting work fronts in a shipyard environment.
Experience should include:
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Understand Pipe / Flange Classes
- Understand and Implement FMS processes
- Understand and comply with QC and record keeping requirements
- Fully understand purging and ventilation processes including safe discharge of gas.
Other Skill:
- Familiar with PSV & PRV Calibration.
- Familiar with Special Equipment and the types of equipment that should be excluded from Leak testing.
- Familiar with requirements related to Pumps, Compressors and Specification Change’s in piping / vessel
- systems.
- Conversant with best practice regarding Golden Welds, Witness Joints and Isolations.
- Familiar with regulatory requirements and compliance
- Able to produce quality reports
