Job Description:
- Lead and manage the shipping team by planning and implementing strategies and initiatives to ensure continuous improvement in both service and shipping processes.
- Handle enquiries, feedback, and dispute from customers, vendors and/or shipping lines and shipment-related internal communication.
- Perform trade and customs-related processes such as Tradenet, Portnet and NTP, monitor and ensure all customs permit declaration are complying with relevant Regulations and Procedures.
- Plan, organize, and manage all shipping activities.
- Support chartering activities related to commodities shipping.
- Inventory management (picking, stuffing instruction) for 3rd party logistics warehouse.
- Stay updated with regulations and documentation requirements related to shipping and logistics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Logistics or equivalent
- At least 6 years of experience in the Marine & Offshore shipping/ freight forwarding operation and documentation
- Well versed in import and export operational and customs processes,
- Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Working Conditions
- 5.5 Working days per week.
