Job Description
- Assist superiors in their preparation for full set of financial and managerial accounts
- Responsible in verifying, coding and keying in payment/receipts (including petty cash) - those with good exposure in LC and other International Trade will be a plus
- Preparation of bank reconciliation, liaison with banks for account opening / maintenance / review
- Preparation and update monthly prepayment schedule and monthly journal on charges
- Liaison with overseas counterparties relating to accounting and transactional activities
- Preparation of quarterly GST report
- Assist in both internal and external audit
- Assist in tax matters
- Processing of staff claims
- Filing of documents
- Other ad-hoc matters
Job Requirements
- Diploma or degree in accountancy/business/finance
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience
- Able to do either partial or full sets of accounts
- Proficient in Mandarin to deal with associates in China
- Experience in commodity trading industry will be advantageous
- Experience in using Sage300 system will be advantageous
