About the Team
With Mizuho group’s success in Singapore over the years, we are expanding our Fixed Income and FX businesses here. Business technology is a core part of our Information Technology division. Partnering with business closely, the team will provide Front Office and Middle Office systems and services to support our business growth in Singapore, while working closely with colleagues in Hong Kong, Tokyo, London and across the globe.
Summary
We are looking for a strong Murex SME with project management capabilities. The candidate shall have 10+ years Murex experiences and FI/FX business facing exposure, with strong track records in implementing front to back systems for FI/FX cash and derivatives products with focuses on trade capture, trade pricing, interfaces, murex workflows and Datamart. The candidate should demonstrate ability to manage priorities across tasks. This role will be working on business analysis, project coordination and development/implementation for Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Product Control, Market Risk and Finance for the pan Asia businesses.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and support Murex system for FI/FX businesses. This includes but not limited to FI cash. products, Interest rate swaps, Cross Currency swaps and options, FX Spot, FX forward, NDF, Repo products.
- Drive project execution and coordination with business and functions.
- Collaborate with business on requirements: trade booking and processing,valuation and risk, confirmation.
- Collaborate actively with other IT colleagues as Murex is part of a larger ecosystem and requires close coordination and smooth integration with other systems.
- Global mindset and be an active contributor to the global communities.
- Actively manage project risks and dependencies with timely escalation to management.
- Promote teamwork across teams and mentor new joiners for longer-term career success.
Skills and Qualifications
- 10 years’ experience as a Murex BA and developer.
- Familiar with FI/FX Derivatives products and processes, with hands-on withFront to Back systems and business analysis for Interest Rate Swaps, Fixedincome, FX cash and other derivatives.
- Murex Hands-on with trade pricing and risk, simulation view configuration,workflows and Datamart reporting
- Familiar with front to back business processes such as Pre-trade, Trade capture,Pricing, Risk, confirmation, payment, and regulatory requirements.
- Murex development and 2nd/3rd line support experiences.
- Strong verbal and written communication in dealing with internal stakeholders and vendors.
- University degree in engineering or science, with fluent English for business communication.
- Driven and self-motivated for long-term career growth.
