Key Responsibilities:
Geotechnical Engineering:
- Review of soil sampling, logging, and laboratory testing results.
- Perform pipe soil interaction study to determine the friction factors to be considered for various types of soil.
- Analyze geotechnical data and prepare reports summarizing findings.
- Support the design of foundations, retaining walls, slopes, and other geotechnical structures.
Pipeline Engineering:
- Assist in the design and analysis of pipeline systems.
- Perform mechanical design calculations such as wall thickness analysis, free spans analysis, and on-bottom stability analysis on pipeline systems.
- Support the development of pipeline alignment sheets, construction drawings, and specifications.
Project Support:
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation, including reports, calculations, and presentations.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and cost estimation.
- Ensure all engineering work is conducted in accordance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirement
· Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
· Strong understanding of geotechnical and pipeline engineering principles.
· Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, PLAXIS, GLRWeap).
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
· Fluent English (spoken & written)
