Job Description:
We are looking for a talented Choir Instructor who is passionate about teaching choir and vocal techniques to secondary school students. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in choir direction, vocal training, and be knowledgeable about various music genres.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct choir classes for secondary school students.
- Develop and implement choir curriculum and lesson plans.
- Teach students about vocal techniques, harmony, and musical expression.
- Provide guidance on various music genres and choral arrangements.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Prepare students for choir performances and competitions.
- Maintain punctuality and professionalism in all classes and choir events.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance the choir programme.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in choir direction and vocal training (minimum of 2 years preferred but not mandatory).
- Proficiency in vocal techniques and choral arrangements.
- Strong ability to work with and inspire secondary school students.
- Experience in preparing students for choir performances and competitions is a plus.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Summary of role requirements:
