Technical Consultant – In this role, you will possess a strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes , configuration management, and scripting in BMC Helix ITSM and ServiceNow This role requires a combination of technical proficiency and problem-solving skills to deliver effective solutions to our clients.
You Will:
Configuration and Customization:
- Analyze client requirements to design and implement custom solutions within BMC Helix ITSM and ServiceNow platforms.
- Configure workflows, forms, and other ITSM components to align with client business processes.
- Develop and implement integrations between BMC Helix ITSM and ServiceNow, as well as other systems.
Scripting and Automation:
- Develop custom scripts and workflows using scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, PowerShell) to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
- Create integrations using APIs and web services to connect ITSM platforms with other systems.
- Develop custom reports and dashboards to provide valuable insights into IT operations.
Technical Consultation:
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to clients throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Conduct requirements gathering and gap analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Develop and present technical solutions to address client challenges.
Project Delivery:
- Contribute to project planning, execution, and closure.
- Ensure project deliverables are met within budget and timeline constraints.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of BMC Helix ITSM and ServiceNow platforms, including configuration, customization, and best practices.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, PowerShell) and API integration.
- Experience with ITIL frameworks and ITSM processes.
- Ability to analyse complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in BMC Helix ITSM and ServiceNow.
- Experience with other ITSM tools and platforms.
- Knowledge of database management systems (SQL, Oracle).
- Experience in cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
