About our client: Our client is a leading global engineering and project management consultancy embarking on large-scale infrastructure and environmental projects.

About the role:
· Meetings with Clients and contractors relating to contracts and claims.
· Advises the Project Director/Project Manager, Construction Manager, and Client Officers on contractual aspects of the contracts.
· Provides oversight and guidance to the Quantity Surveyor (QS) on the overall contractors’ progress claims and variation orders, interim valuation and payment, Client’s Programme
· Budget and cost control, and the settlement of final accounts.
· Provide guidance and advice to the QS and RSS teams toward quality and consistent
· Management and administration of their respective contracts.
· Conducts overall reviews of the quantity take-off measurements performed by Quantity Surveyor (QS).
· Prepares monthly progress reports on the status of contracts, progress claims, variation orders,
· Client’s budget and insurance claims.
· Assists in the revision of Contract position papers.
· Review contractors’ submissions about variation works and claims including Extension of Time, Loss & Expense, etc.
· Support the PD/PM in meetings with contractors, detailed design consultants and the Client’s Project Team relating to contract matters.
· Attends the monthly Progress Meetings with Contractors and the Board.
· Attend Client’s meetings with the other Client departments, government agencies, and stakeholders, as required.
· Maintains awareness of the statutory building regulations and the different building contracts in
· Establishes client’s requirements and undertake feasibility/ budget studies, cost analyses, as required.
· Any other duties as and when assigned by the PD/PM.
About you:
· Degree or any other qualification approved by the Board.
· About 15 years of working experience managing multi-disciplinary claims ranging from civil structure to MEICA works.
· Well-versed with Public Sector Conditions of Contract. Preferably involves projects related to water and/or wastewater treatment plants.
· Knowledge of construction and material management and the ability to provide cost and financial advice.
· Shall be proficient and have the necessary skills and expertise in drafting specifications and Bills of Quantities for the construction works.
· Good communication skills and writing ability.
· Meticulous in work with analytical skills in problem-solving.
· Highly motivated and independent.
· A good team player with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
