Job Summary:
As a Supermarket Shelf Stacker, you will play a vital role in ensuring that the supermarket is well-stocked, clean, and organized to provide a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. Your primary responsibility is to replenish stock on the shelves, ensuring that products are correctly displayed and easy for customers to find.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock Replenishment:
Unload deliveries and transfer products to the appropriate sections.
Refill shelves and displays promptly to maintain a fully stocked store.
Rotate stock to ensure freshness and reduce wastage.
- Product Display:
Arrange products neatly and according to the store’s planograms and guidelines.
Ensure pricing labels are accurate and clearly visible.
Highlight promotional items and special offers effectively.
- Inventory Management:
Monitor stock levels and report shortages or overstock situations to the supervisor.
Assist in stocktakes and inventory counts as required.
Ensure proper storage of products in the stockroom.
- Customer Service:
Assist customers in finding products and provide information as needed.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or direct them to the appropriate staff member.
- Store Maintenance:
Keep aisles, shelves, and displays clean and tidy.
Remove damaged or expired products from the shelves.
Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe shopping environment.
Working Conditions:
