Responsibilities:
- Define project goals, objectives, and scope, and develop a project plan detailing tasks, timelines, and resources needed.
- Communicate effectively across offices and project teams to ensure clear direction and information flow.
- Adapt to changing circumstances, solve problems, manage internal and external stakeholders, handle risks and issues, and monitor progress to keep the project on track.
- Develop an accurate timeline for project completion, ensuring tasks are completed within the project constraints.
- Anticipate potential delays and inform the team of any necessary changes.
- Ensure project milestone deliverables are achieved and obtain required approvals.
- Manage project scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables, focusing on overall project success.
- Oversee project budget management.
- Collaborate with the Project Director to manage project and design processes, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Keep projects on track throughout their lifecycle, managing change requests, addressing issues promptly, and handling delays and risks effectively.
- Understand the relationship between design and constructability.
- Contribute to the firm's design excellence and problem-solving efforts.
- Offer ideas to improve team productivity.
- Ensure project documentation complies with the office's standard filing system.
- Integrate sustainable design solutions into projects.
- Manage client relationships and represent the company brand in meetings with clients and consultants.
- Attend presentations and meetings with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.
- Understand company agreements, contracts, and deliverables, ensuring adherence to project management standards.
- Engage in professional organizations and events to promote the firm and its services, occasionally outside regular business hours.
- Travel internationally for project meetings, site visits, and business development.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the team leader.
Requirements:
- Degree in Landscape Architecture or Architecture.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience with expertise in design and project management.
- Proven experience in leading projects from initiation through to closure.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills, including critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.
- Experience working internationally or in a global environment is advantageous.
- Positive attitude, initiative, responsibility, maturity, self-motivation, resourcefulness, teamwork, and excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
