Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services necessary for our company's operations. This role involves maintaining inventory levels, ensuring product quality, and developing strong relationships with suppliers.
- Purchase material for Inventory & Project Installation.
- Convert PR to PO and negotiate with suppliers and sub-contractors for better pricing in order to meet the Gross Margin.
- Follow up with suppliers for delivery of items to store and liaise with freight forwarders for shipping arrangements.
- Arrange delivery of equipment to project sites.
- Filing and monitor price increases and communicating changes to relevant department.
- Source for new products and alternative suppliers for competitive price for comparison.
- Record cost savings for material purchasing and report to RHQ the direct & indirect savings.
- Assist finance in month end closing ensure payments to supplier & subcontractors within the payment due date
- Resolve issues related to order discrepancies, delays, and non-conformance.
Requirements:
- Diploma in supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Good communication skills
- Min. 1 year related experience preferred.
- Open to 1 year contract role
