- Sun to Thur 8.30am to 5.45pm; Alt Sat 8.30am to 12.30pm; Rest Day Fri
- Mon to Fri, 0825 – 1745 Alt Saturdays: 0825 - 1230
Working Location: Changi Alps
Company Transport Provided :Ang Mo Kio, Bedok, Punggol, Sengkang, Tampines, Tanah Merah.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all export and import queries.
- Liaise with shipper for collection arrangement and other export matters
- Coordinate with the sales and destination offices for air approval and rate establishment.
- Coordinate with the finance team concerning COD payments or customer accounts that have exceeded the credit limit.
- Collaborate with vendor management to coordinate collection efforts.
- Coordinate with the air freight planner for the flight schedule.
- Coordinate with the import team concerning the re-exporting of the shipment.
- Coordinate with the permit department for all export permit applications.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team regarding the acceptance, release, sorting, packing, or any storage requests related to cargo.
- Cooperate with external vendors for DG packing, crating, fumigation, and other tasks.
- Collaborating with the export operations team to give shipping directions.
- Assist the manager in managing the team's daily operational issues/queries.
- Assisting the manager with departmental projects.
- Assist the manager with setting up a new account.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma / Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management industry or related discipline
- Experience in Freight Forwarding (Air Freight/ Import or Export)
- Strong personal presence and credibility, complemented by excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
