Title : Associate Engineer,GIS
Role - Application Support
Experience: Freshers are welcome
Type - 1 Year direct Contract Renewable / Convertable
Skills - SQL Scripting
Responsibilities
- Provide support for GIS and GIS-related applications, including data rectification, data synchronization, and incident resolution.
- Monitor and respond to all system alerts and provide daily technical support in terms of troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving issues.
- Perform incident investigation and resolution, root cause analysis, and problem resolution, ensuring high availability of applications users.
- Perform any administrative tasks associated with GIS and GIS-related applications, such as user account management, log reviews, etc.
- Monitor incident and problem tickets and provide appropriate resolutions on a timely basis.
- Support all internal and external audits for GIS and GIS-related applications.
- Adhere to standard IT service delivery processes in accordance with IT policies and procedures.
- Document and update application configuration and architecture diagrams.
- Perform any other related duties/tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor or Director, Information Technology
Requirements
- Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- Candidates with 0-2 years of related experience in GIS or GIS-related applications will be an added advantage.
- Good skills with SQL and Perl scripting and PHP programming.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills, resourceful, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Candidates with no relevant experience but with a good attitude and interest in GIS applications are welcome to apply, as on-the-job training will be provided.
