RESPONSIBILITIES

The incumbent is required to commercially manage identified categories for FairPrice Housebrand. The scope of work allows the incumbent to see through the end-to-end process. From the upstream of conceptualising packaging, driving new product launches, implementing activations, to managing commercial targets. He/she is responsible for driving the growth and achievement of commercial targets for the brick-and-mortar and digital formats within the FairPrice Group.

  • Plans and strategizes category-specific growth plans as well as recommends new products based on local & international market trends, size of prize, brand and strategy fit.
  • In-depth analysis of sales data to identify issues and opportunities by category and by channel/format.
  • Plan development to address the identified problem statement.
  • Oversee implementation of category plans including campaign and trade activities.
  • Drive channel engagement for grocery portfolio assigned for.
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
  • Proven experience in brand building, with product management / marketing experience at leading FMCG company.
  • Experience with supermarkets/grocery chains would be a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Accountability.
  • Display traits of a growth mindset, and self-motivated.
  • Resilient and adaptable.
