The candidate will assist the company secretaries in handling a portfolio of companies and his/her responsibilities will include:
Provision of Corporate Secretarial Services
Key Accountabilities
• Negotiate and conclude sales of CoSec Services;
• Assist clients on compliance with corporate governance and statutory requirements;
• Schedule, attend and prepare minutes of Board/Board Committee meetings;
• All other corporate secretarial work and related regulatory filings;
• Ensure adhoc billings are done upon completion of non-routine work, monitor and follow up on billings;
• Handle clients’ queries promptly; and
• Conduct customer due diligence and risk assessment.
Lead and Provide Mentorship
• Share best practices within/across teams;
• Guide team on preparation and review of necessary documents for clients’ corporate exercises, non-routine resolutions;
• Share specimens/templates.
Staff development
• Oversee support staff’s work;
• Providing coaching, guidance and support; and
• Provide staff with regular feedback and evaluation.
Requirement:
• Degree holder or holder of a professional certificate in chartered secretary. Preferably with ICSA Certification.
• Min 4-5 years’ experience in a corporate secretarial managerial capacity, including as named company secretary, and currently operating in managerial capacity.
• Experienced working in outsourcing/service provider environment.
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Client service oriented, with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Be flexible and adaptable in working styles.
• Pro-active manner, willing to offer new suggestions and share knowledge.
• Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Willing to take on duties outside of job specification.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Exposure to investment and financial industry would be useful.
