Job Description

1. As a PIC of contact window between Asia Pacific regional office and Tokyo HQ, with sufficient knowledge of the Japanese economy, politics, and a wide range of topics related to Japan, maintain and enhance the relationships and mutual trust with Tokyo HQ by maintaining close communication, forming the basis for effective internal communication with relevant divisions.
2. As a PIC of intelligence analysis between Japan and other countries, proactively gets information and make his/her own investigation to share the insights with the management of regional HQ and other colleagues, which enables us to enhance our business activity in each domain and industry.
3. Not only analyzing and summarizing these intelligence information to management of regional HQ, but also proactively releasing the insights and hypothesis to our Tokyo HQ by creating the most effective scheme of information sharing, in a stiff alignment with the Tokyo Head Office and local branches in the AP region.
4. With the knowledge of the worldwide economy and politics, forming the basis for effective corporate internal communication with each other.
5. Address the tasks assigned by the GM of the planning division and complete them at a high level, even if they are not directly related to original task.

Job Requirements

1. Experience engaging in planning division for over 3 years, which enables him/her to understand our company's strategy, culture and its' activities in a more efficient and targeted manner.
2. Have an ambition and proactive attitude of leading and managing the team you belong to and the above tasks, as well as supporting General Manager even in areas that are not related to original expected tasks.
3. Have experience working in Japanese company or the institution located in Japan for over 3 years and have the knowledge and skills to communicate smoothly with internal/external Japanese people based on a deep understanding of Japanese culture, economy, politics, etc., including fluent Japanese.
4. Have the skill of speaking and writing English as well as fluent Japanese.
5. The experience of working in planning division is required.
6. The experience of working in Japanese company or the institution located in Japan is highly valued.
7. Skill of fluency in Japanese is mandatory to establish and maintain close ties with Tokyo HQ.
